Which Strap Size Fits Your HydroConquest?
Go by case diameter, not by model name:

Two things on that table catch people out.
First, the 41 mm and 43 mm — the best-selling references in the range — take 21 mm, not 20 mm. This is the single most misquoted spec on the watch. Longines' own replacement rubber strap for the HydroConquest is listed at 21 mm, so there's no ambiguity: a 20 mm strap will sit narrow in the lugs with a visible gap either side.
Second, the 39 mm changed. The long-running L3.780 generation takes 19 mm — dealer specifications and per-reference listings for L3.780.4.56.6 and L3.780.3.78.6 all state 19 mm lug distance. The all-new 2026 generation moved the 39 mm to 20 mm. Same case diameter, same model name, different strap. And it's worth saying plainly: most strap makers stock 18, 20 and 22 and skip the odd numbers entirely, which is exactly why HydroConquest owners struggle. Two of the three sizes this watch actually uses are sizes the industry doesn't cut.

The HydroConquest is built around water — 300 m, unidirectional bezel, screw-down crown — and the steel bracelet, good as it is, isn't what you want in the sea or in summer heat. 1. Black Rubber – The Default, and the Right One
Most HydroConquests wear a black bezel and black dial, and a black rubber strap is the configuration Longines themselves sell. It's the pick that works on every reference in the range regardless of size or bezel colour, and it's one of the most popular choices among HydroConquest owners. If you're buying one strap, buy this one.
2. Blue Rubber – For the Blue Bezel
Blue is the HydroConquest's signature — the blue dial and blue ceramic bezel combination is the range's best-known look. A blue rubber strap keeps the whole watch tonal, so it reads as one deliberate design rather than a watch with a strap attached to it.
3. Green Rubber – For the Military Green Models
Longines added military green dials and matching ceramic bezels to the range, and those references genuinely want a green rubber strap. It's the same repeat-the-bezel logic, and on a green HydroConquest nothing else looks as intentional.
4. Grey Rubber – The Understated One
For the smokey sunray grey dials — or as a change of pace on a black watch — a grey rubber strap softens the case without adding a new colour to the watch. It's the quiet, technical option, and the one that dresses the HydroConquest down for daily wear.
